    Richard attended the Conference of State Parties(3) to the United Nation Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities as the delegate of United Kingdom Disabled People’s Council. This was held from 1st to 3rd September at the UN in New York.

    Richard was asked to contribute from the floor to the Roundtable on Article 24 and its implementation.

    2nd to 4th July 2013 – Southern Africa Ministerial Conference on Inclusive Education

    Richard was a keynote presenter at the joint SAALED Ministerial and Teacher Development Conference and facilitator at the Ministerial Conference developing a plan for implementing Inclusive Education across the SADC area. He also contributed to the OSISA Regional Education Ministers Seminar.
